VALUE LINE MICROCOMPUTER SOFTWARE The VALUEMASTER system combines DataWindow microcomputer software, developed by Interactive Data Corp, with a Value Line Financial Data Base of 1,600 companies. The system permits screening and data retrieval from a list of 100 data items for each company. It also provides the user with the ability to create customised criteria by combining existing data items in various algebraic formats. The software, based on windowing technology, screens criteria instantaneously as the user enters the name and value. As many as 25 criteria may be used at one time. Portfolio candidates can be identified by screening the entire data base, company lists of the user's preference or industry groups. |
