K.P.A. Advisory Services was established in 1988. Keith Ambachtsheer is an award-winning analyst of pensions and investment issues. He is a regular contributor to investment journals and text books. His first book, Pension Funds And The Bottom Line, published by Dow Jones Irwin in 1986, has been widely read and quoted. It was released in Japanese in 1992. His second book, co-authored with Don Ezra, Pension Fund Excellence ~ Creating Value For Stakeholders, was released in May 1998 by John Wiley and Sons. He is a member of the Financial Analysts Journal editorial board, the Canadian Investment Review editorial board, and a member of AIMR's Council on Education and Research.

Mr. Ambachtsheer advises governments, industry associations, pension plan sponsors and money managers on pension governance, finance, and investment. His advisory publication, The Ambachtsheer Letter, regularly reaches over 165 clients in North America and overseas. He is a co-founder of Cost Effectiveness Measurement Inc., which monitors the management quality of 250 of North America's largest asset pools, aggregating to US $1.5 trillion.
