Ouimet + Associates was founded in 1991 as a Canadian specialist in independently produced research for institutional money managers. Ouimet + Associates maintains that most brokerage generated research, while useful, often fails to satisfy the needs of many sophisticated professional investors. From our inception we have endeavoured to discover and make available a wide variety of outstanding research products created outside the traditional brokerage community. The success of our corporate goal has been reflected in a constantly expanding client and product base. Ouimet + Associates provides a wide array of research services with the aim of assisting portfolio managers in their investment decision-making process. While we respond to inquiries from our clients we are also active in seeking out and marketing new products and services. Another key element in our strategy has been the emphasis on quality order execution. We are very aware of the importance of professional trading capabilities. We have an established relationship with TD Correspondent Services, a division of TD Securities Inc, trading with TD Waterhouse Investor Services (Canada) Inc. We place the highest priority on a comprehension of the regulatory environment and endeavour to stay abreast of new developments.
